LG has announced a new portable MP3 and video player, the LG FM37, which features 2.4-inch color touchscreen display, 2-GB storage, FM radio with recording, USB port and video playback.
The LG FM37 MP3 player is equipped with 2.4 inch, 320 x 240 pixels TFT Touchscreen LCD Display with most of the controls executable by touchscreen directly.
Equipped with 2-GB flash storage (upgradable to max 4-GB), the MP3 media player supports most of the popular audio files including OGG, MP3, WMA, AIFF, and WAV and the gadget comes with 8 preset equilizer settings.
The LG FM37 also sport video playback in mpeg4 format and it comes with integrated FM radio tuner with recording facility.
The gadget allows several gestures for control playback, such as rubbing finger around the screen in clockwise fashon results in increasing the volume and doing same in anti-clock wise fashon would reduce the volume. To skip to the next track, one needs only run finger from the left to the right, etc.
LG FM37 comes with integrated text viewer software. A text file can be dropped into a folder from a PC for online reading. It also supports voice recording.
Weighing just about 63 grams, LG FM37 comes with standard Li-Ion battery which provides upto 20 hours of audio playback or 5 hours for video playback with full charge.
Other features of LG FM37 mp3 player includes e-book compatibility, USB v2.0 port for fast media transfer, standard 3.5 mm headphone jack compatible with any headphones and microphone jack for audio/voice recording.
