HP has announced Compaq Presario SG3470IL Desktop PC which is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4700 and it features 320-GB SATA hard drive, 17-inch Color CRT monitor, and a 16X DVD Writer and comes with freeDOS OS preinstalled.
The new Compaq Presario SG3470IL desktop PC is powered by 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4700 with Enhanced Speedstep Technology and Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology EM64T and the desktop PC features Intel 945GC chipset with Socket 775 motherboard with 2MB L2 cache and 800 MHz FSB.
With FreeDOS preinstalled, Compaq Presario SG3470IL desktop PC comes with 1-GB PC2-6400 DDR2 (800 MHz) RAM which is expandable to max 4-GB, a 320-GB 7200 rpm (300 MB/Sec speed) SATA II Hard drive and a 16X DVD Super Multi Drive Dual Layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer with LightScribe Technology.
Very attractive set. It comes with freeDOS means the set is capable of booting if nothing is installed or it only means that DOS is installed freely when you buy.
